What happened to..

• The location of 2 Meat deposits has been changed to a building restricted area

I'd like to say something positive about the last maintenance - even though some things aren't right yet most of the changes worked and it was nice to get rid of the 'Something is Missing' quest and some other things tidied up. Discussions on how the UI should be arranged will be ongoing I think, as much of it is up to personal ideas of arrangement. If things less often used could go into the collapsible section of the information area I think that would be helpful.

That "chat server connection lost" might be caused by (almost) full flash cache memory (on your computer).

Do a full relog (off out to login page and on again) solve it atleast temporary (til you check another browser tab)?
Are you using FireFox?

I had the same issues since first night-script after (this) maintenance were about to be run.
Using more than one tab would make the chat go banana.
Now I'm testing Chrome and there seems to be no such problems at all.

Though using Chrome seems to make you suffer a lot in flash-locks like reported in..

• The "New Quest" and "Quest Completed" indicator is not obliterating the chat window any more

Really?
It'll still freeze and lock the browser for many minutes (and send you back to homepage) if you'd go afk for some hours.
My workaround for that is to in prevention visit and stay on an adventure island.

Now it seems like it's all fine using FireFox, since activation of The Geologist Weeks -promotion..
Yet another Promotion-weeks making the game less playable.
I doubt BB will ever confirm it so consider this case closed by now.
