Any alternatives to play the game and obtain tokens (apart from trade)?

    midsummer event haha!

    pointless!

good luck to the hoarders who can buy lotsa goodies (again).

I always look forward to events and was hoping to relieve the boredom. so I guess i'll just log off for a month or 2 and see if that helps!

I did read all of it and I will pass on your feedback, although no changes will be made for the current event. I was just trying to point out that one of the things you wished for is already happening, as it didn't appear that you had that info.

Those who had the foresight to "mop up" after the event shops closed using resources and trading them for then-useless event items are not hoarders. We are called risk-takers. BB could have just automatically traded the event resources for the gcs, in which case we would have drastically undersold our traded resources. In that scenario I guess the forum pages would have been filled with older players moaning about that - either way, BB couldnt win could they?

I see nothing wrong with this event other than its called an "event" - why shouldn't the players that have been here the longest get extra stuff? I had next to no tokens, and that's fine - we can't all have everything - and if some players have saved things then ok - they get to buy stuff with tokens, and next event everybody gets to start at the same level

Well dont really care about if someone got event resources left or not. Cant really see why they did not use them at the event where they got them.
It is ok to make a garage sail like this - fine by me.

But no need to blow it up to be the Midsummer night event/special. Making players disappointed because they hoped for and needed a summer event.
