midsummer (its not an) event!

I can see the sense in making future events more fair for everyone, altho personally idc what other ppl buy, so not bothered, but I don't see why we cant earn tokens during this event rather than feeding the hoarders ridic amounts of gc. in a cpl of weeks time I wont have any resources and some of the hoarders will have made millions of gc. don't sound very fair does it!

There is obviously to much gc in the game and its very unbalanced. why not take some of this gc out of the game, have a new tab in the shop allowing us to buy items with gc. I know this has been suggested b4, I'm just putting forward another reason why I think its a good idea.

You have had 17 months to accumulate the event items which midsummer is based upon, I've had over 3 years to do the same and like you I failed to get everything on my wish list. The big difference is I'm happy with my lot. Maybe if people stopped paying the prices the hoarders are currently asking they will be forced to drop the price or risk a large loss. It is not BB's responsibility to fix things which are the result of players stupidity.

Doro sounds a bit harsh, but after a reread I see he/she is backing up my point...

no bb can't be responsible for "players stupidity", but maybe they can try and compensate for it by trying things like putting us all on a level footing for future events and maybe a new tab to spend gc?

My big question is why should anyone get anything out of old event resources?? I really don't get why BB waste our time by over advertising a sale in the shop, making little hints long the way, as if they were revealing a big exiting event, instead of giving us something fun to do in a actual summer event. Don't really care what you get or don't get, would just have loved to have some new activity in the game.

in future ppl wont be able to buy stuff with old resources, that's the whole point of this horrible exercise! tbf if ppl have been collecting old resources they should be allowed to use them b4 the new system starts.

Exactly! BlueByte told us this was coming back at the end of February and why. From that first announcement, it never was supposed to be a proper event. I can't understand why so many people are acting so surprised!
