Based on the units, it looks like we get new units as well and they look like progressions of the "Nomad raiders".

Ali Baba Raider - First Strike, 50 Hitpoints, 1000 Damage
Ali Baba Saber Raider - First Strike, Splash Damage, 100 Hitpoints, 200 Damage ...
Ali Baba Raid Leader - First Strike, 50000 Hitpoints, 250000 Damage
No, seriously. I don't even see the point in introducing new combat units:
a) If they are not stronger than currently existing units, they don't add meaningful content.
b) There are already units which are so completely of whack compared to player units (90 First Strike Damage @100%, 20 Hitpoints // 140 Damage @95%, 60 Hitpoints etc.) and we don't get unit upgrades anyways so just adding a different mix does "that" for difficulty anyways.
I think adding versatility to adventures without making (either old or new) content superfluous is very tough. Striking the right balance is much more important than unit setup and layout.
