In friendslist it's sorted by lvl and per lvl in alphabetical order.
In guild it's sorte by rank, then by lvl then in alphabetical order

Just for Info: Guild is sorted by
Member Rank ... then Member Level ... then Member Name
I played around a bit with my one to sit all the active players at high rank just so they are most visible on the first page of the list. Only the guild master can do that though.
OK, Member Rank. That's the thing that makes it look crazy. Sorting on an invisible field. Gotta love it.
we need a favourites option too
An online/offline button would help a lot.
Deathcap - The Flesh-Eating Mushroom from the Create-An-Enemy Contest 2013
Some more threads..
A "Favourites" option in the Friends menu
Friends list filter
Done that too. Just getting a bit tricky when it comes to semi-(in)-active players - where to draw the line..
ATM I'm promoting GQ active members during the 2 first days of a GQ and then demoting the rest during the 3rd day - that makes it fast & easy for everyone to see where help is needed and for me to administrate a reward system to this. As it's been working well, I think we'll continue doing this way.
The concept of friends is not well implemented.
When I want to find an actual friend I have to wade through more than 100 "friends" to find them.
What are currently termed "Friends" in game should be renamed "Allies"
A new Friends list could be added for actual friends.
Merged

This would require a new mechanic
When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's
A search function would be nice though.
There is a function to see if your friend is currently online
/findFriend Friendsname
There's also a function to whisper them without first having to find them
/w username
I know these are both not the solution to your question but perhaps they help a tiny bit![]()
