Leveling

I have been playing this game for over 2 years and in the last year have not levelled at all. Does anyone else find this a difficult game to level? Stuck at level 38 atm seems to be no help or quests to help and next questline/advancement seems to be at level 40/41. I know adventures seem to be the way to go but I have only limited time per day to play and find it expensive and time consuming to adventure. I mainly only have time to maintain my island and do the odd quest.

So main question is I guess any other way to level?

I suggest to you to play a single player level 26 adventure - Horseback (1000 recruits) , horseback single-player adventure gives you 7230 xp !

you also can play PVP you can finish PVP in 30min if you get fast on it.

Unfortunately though PvP will only gain you PvP xp and PvP level increases. PvP will not help you reach the main level 50 (Now extended with the launch of XXL pack to level 75) You can try the resource scenario adventures, they require you to produce a few items in provision house and find items on the adventure map, but no troops needed. Not sure of the xp rewards but is an alternative to killing to level up.

There was a question about `Advanced Options` window here - I found it finally but please devs keep in mind that we don't remember by heart ALL the windows in the game - if we have to open ANOTHER window(s) before the required one please don't be lazy to mention it literally in the help.

we do stealing from the rich alone 11800 xp, done with soldiers/recruits / cavalry /long bow men. it can be done in about an hour with 3/4 generals fast or about 2/3 hours with slow generals. it can be done with loses of about 200 soldiers.
if done with a premium (we only used ones that they gave us free) you get extra xp. it levels you up quite quickly. We mostly only do adventures on weekends/holidays.
