Daily and guild quests not completing: Trade and Buff a Friend

It seems that guildquests and daily quest start to become a problem. Had same problem with daily this morning. Sold 100 water but after acceptance it remains open.
Atm i'm hearing sounds from several guildmembers that they are not able to finish their guildquest.

If the GQ is a trade quest you can get it to complete by getting someone to send you the requested trade, buff quest no workaround unfortunately.

Guild quest, Fun with Snow, level 46 to 50 'do 2 advs and SELL 50 cannons to other players. Fantastic, worked for me, hasn't worked for most of guild. Hence we are stuck. Cannot cancel gq (Bug 1) cannot register the trades (Bug 2).

But we are a resilient bunch here, can get it to work by doing the trades totally the wrong way round. Sell one stone for the cannons and the other person then sells one stone to you for the cannons back - total reverse of what the quest says of course as you both SOLD a stone, hahahaha.

Same happened today had to buy 100 bread.

Couldn't buy direct from a friend and friend then set up an offer on the market to sell 100 bread which I completed. Still doesn't complete the quest.

tabman, get your friend to send the trade direct, not put it in the trade office

This thread "GQ will not complete" and the thread: Daily and guild quests not completing are the same, and both are a bit of a jumble of issues.

Above threads merged.

The core problems appear to be less that Dailies and GQs aren't completing but that certain Trade Quests and Buff Quests are bugged.

The workaround for the Trade problem, also affecting: "The Trade" Level 12 Tutorial Trade Quest seems fairly consistently to be "Have someone else make the offer."

Workaround:

Today, one daily quest and one guild quest. In both cases it took two players to both do their end. Explanation:

I sent a player 5 wheels in return for some fish, then sent a trade asking for wheels and giving fish. Result: Their quest completed, mine didn't.
Then that same player did the same thing from their end, and mine completed.

This was repeated for a different quest with a different player. When they made the offer, mine completed but theirs didn't. When I made the offer, theirs completed.

trade x amount of resource, using direct trade and trade office, any trades set up by the quest owner do not register for this quest. work around this can be done by getting a friend or guildy to set up the trades for you and send them directly - so if you need to buy 10 fish, your friend sends you the 10 fish and vice versa..

There doesn't seem be a workaround for Buff Quests not registering.

And as mentioned above, this: Can no longer cancel the Guild Quest is a separate issue.

cant do quest when buffing friends. its a daily quest, so its like not important. But our guild cant finish GQ, because many players have a quest "buff a friend" .. and it doesnt work....it has to be solved, please

I am the last to finish my guild quest, and to keep the guild happy. But I can't. I have to buff 5 solid sandwiches and Irma on friend. I try buffing guildies...I try to buff friends...And the quest is still undone.....What I have to say?
