How many books will "50 % refund" give to me?

I'm thinking about refunding books invested into regular geologist and invest it into new geologist from halloween event. I know the "50 % refund" will return only half of books, but how much for odd amounts?

I invested:

- 10 manuscripts - I will get 5 back
- 1 tome - I will get 1 or nothing?
- 3 codexes - I will get 2 or 1?

I think it's liable to be 1 each on last 2, tbh I wouldn't bother just leave the books there until you in a position to get them back with gems or never bother. even a slowbie has it's uses. I would still use him to find iron / coal / gold at least until you have quite a few jolly's skilled.

1 tome should give 1 back.
3 codices should give 2 back.

you can click on the 50% refund button and the popup shows how many books you get back - you then choose yes or no to complete the refund
