This has been reported and is currently being looked into.
We will provide more updates as soon as we have more info.
I now have two boxes, but I shall be leaving the second one unopened in my star menu. I remember the fiasco the last time this happened.

Since there is no point complaining about moderation, it wasn't a complaint. It was a statement of fact of what happened last year

Are you a casual or part-time player? Don't want a chatty guild or expect lots of support?
And do you want the chance to earn a few guild coins but don't want to be forced to do guild quests on a daily basis?

Two years in a row. I start to think it's a feature, not a bug. So thank you for the lovely surprise. I consider it as a refund for 26k gems spent on the Christmas Surprise Package (75 boxes ish) and not a single Gingerhouse from it.
At least when it was the improved store it was only 1 additional, this time its a lot worse some players get a box every time they log out and log back in.
