We have made this sticky thread in order to make more sense and structure to the forum Game Suggestion thread.
The recommendations within the stickied thread are there so that it is easier for players and BB to see the merits and views of each separate suggestion.
Anyone who has ideas on how the forum may be made more user friendly are welcome to post suggestions or recommendations and this would be looked upon very favourably when they send in their forum moderator application.

If we don't get any feedback, stuff just keeps popping up again and again, until people just give up and stop writing. Most response we have had is when when German players tell us about what comments have been made on German forum. That is not very constructive. I cant explain what it fells like, but it is like we does not really matter because we don't write in German.

Hi Dryad, the recommendations and suggestions in the stickied post are indeed useful but when real activity doesn't work that way it would be helpful if there were a little more oversight and organisation behind the scenes. The heavy forum silences and scattered duplicate threads may be helped some by putting more responsibility on the players but they'd be helped more by visible interaction and some [in colour] tidying, this is true across the forum and not just in Game Suggestions. For a while there were several plaintext players who kept their eyes open and would nudge if duplicate threads were posted but most of them seem to have given up.

Of course we of playerside can do better and be more organised, but when we make mistakes or even choose to spend our time in the forum it would be encouraging if there were a few more signs there is a point to it all. Clearly faith remains in the playerbase since people still post and it would be nice to have some visible support for that faith.
Subtle.Aside from the last Official Word being that there is now a bigger forum team than ever there's a decent chance there might be more applications if it looked more like one would be joining a team that is invested in the forum and in the feedback there. MODs and BBs are busy, this is known and appreciated, and often labour under piles of rules that are unknown to those outside the curtain but surely you understand that, for the most part, regular plaintext players only know things that can be seen and what can be seen is the reason people are saying what they are. This is not something the players can fix on their own, no matter how perfectly tidy we all try to be.

I wavered!I beg to differ..It was the third post, specifically addressing the queue, that tipped it. The Bookbinder Queue was just the first thing that came to mind as having posts in many places rather than 'these specifically should all be combined'.
Sometimes to merge or not to merge is a judgment call, and it's not always appropriate if it means burying a variation. This is also the difficulty with having a sort of "verified" listing, striking a balance in Suggestions between keeping organised and keeping creative is tricky and does need some hands-on attention.

If BB did read the forum and gave feedback. I am thinking something like: "This suggestion we cant see possible at the moment", or "This we are already working on" , or "This is a very nice idea, we will put it on the to do list". Then players would not get the feeling that they where talking to a door.
It would be nice to find a way to organize previous ideas, not sure how it can be done,- but some way to categorize suggestions when they are put, so that it is easier to see in advance if someone already made a tread.
A list of buggs, problems ... that BB does recognize needs to be done would also be nice, then we would not have to suggest for the 50´s or more time that it is annoying that you cant see how many troops you have every time there is a pop up message and other obvious annoying stuff.
It would be even better if some of those issues where actually fixed
Fixing bugs should be the highest priority. The game is freezing and stuttering more than ever and really needs fixing more than new content. Normally (with most software) when new content is released bugs for it are usually fixed shortly after but this has not been the case for this game.
We understand that it must be frustrating for you not to get the kind of feedback you are asking for.
In order for a suggestion to get any of the statuses suggested above ( not possible, working on it, etc. ), a number of people (programmers, game designers, producers, etc) need to come together, discuss each suggestion and possible implementation in detail and assess what the status for it is. Seeing how we have about a dozen suggestions for February already (in less than 2 weeks), this would be time-consuming and would divert resources from other, more immediate tasks.
Taking all this into consideration, it is unlikely that this will be implemented soon.
