Replace PvP Rank button to Speciliest Center

I was think about suggestion for replacement for the PvP ranking after feedback of players about it here : http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/t...ng-quot-button

I have idea about make it a button for Specialist Center (for Geologists, Explorers, Generals), and remove them from Star Menu, no need to stack them if you think about it, this Center May have tabs for Troops also so instead of looking around for 3 types of barracks, I can make the troops in this screen.

Also this central may be good replacement for land spot in home land that I suggest here : http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/t...l-to-star-menu so instead of make them land in home land or move them to Star Menu, move them to Specialist Center..

    What you think?

I think, the rank button should be moved to the colony overview like Ozzymandeus suggested here.

Personally, I would love to see a specialist center - but not as a button but as new buildings. One building for generals, and one building for geo/exp.

However, what the button should be replaced with I'm not sure. There are several options I guess. It should be something that is used often.

Well, as building not bad idea, but there is better as icon too in short term, maybe troops training window (barracks) ?

buildings are difficult as what would happen to our generals and explorers if we don't build these buildings or we don't have room to build those. Also we already have a specialist building - Tavern. Its usability could be increased with an UI update.

Replacing the rank button with a specialist center (maybe the renewed Tavern) is a good idea.

The specialist center should allow us to select multiple explorers or geologist and send them to same type of search. For example all Lucky explorers to very long treasure search or all jolly geologist to search for iron.

Also, given the recent changes regardiing Zone buffs, once you have bought all the specialists from the Tavern, it serves no more purpose other than being a decoration (that still uses a licence). It would be good to see it put to some sort of other use... and this proposal (and other similar ones) seem like a sensible fit to me.

+1 to replacing the rank button with specialist centre

No to the new specialist building/enhanced tavern UI because the rank button is always on the screen - both on the home island and on adventures, and I personally also want to use the button on adventures, even if it only shows generals. Also, it'd be a hassle to find the tavern even on the home island if I'm building something in a different sector and want to stay there to watch over the progress.

Also, I'd like it if generals did not arrive to landing zones on the home island but instead arrived into the star/specialist centre and we could place them on the home island / adventure island as though they had landed into a landing zone. It both saves the time of them setting up camp, and also solves the lack of landing spots/attached bugs in the case of sending too many generals. There is maybe one adventure I know where I send the general to attack from a landing spot.

    new tab in star

maybe an exploration tab, where all things pvp can live. people keep moaning about the gens cluttering up their menu and the odd buff we end up with could go in there too. now if u could put a button in star to pvp experience and those 10 random names that pop up everytime I mislcick my action bar and then remove same from main screen i'm sure 99.9% of players would be chuffed to bits to get all the pvp stuff out of the way and those 10 Russian guys who pvp can still carry on.

    e1's a winner
