adv in progress when event starts

All loot for an adventure is calculated at the time the adventure ends.

Using this information you can work all your way to the end of an adventure and just sit there and time the closing of it to maximise your loot.
This might be so that the loot includes event resources, or it might be so that it coincides with some premium time, or maybe both.
Either way it is when the adventure finishes.

Anyone who told you that it is possible to get event loot from adventures started within event time frame and finished outside of that time frame was lying to you.

This is not an official announcement - this is my observation from playing through over a dozen events.

I RTFed an adventure yesterday night so I will have quick eggies when the game comes back on. Did the same during halloween and it worked fine. The loot is calculated when you confirm the quest to finish adv I believe so I think it should work.

The loot is generated when adventure finishes so you're supposed to get eggs from any adv finishing after event start (regardless when the adventure was started).
This is what happened in all events until now.

I got rewards from explorer searches in the last event when i sent them out before to return after start, so hope it is the same this time.

I had two explorers start before the event and finish after, and they both had eggs so I know that works.

No eggs as lot from "Surprise Attack". I had compleated adventure twice after start of event....

Yup, 3 possible drops, one is 0.
So you may not get them each time.
