Guild quest Archer's progress

The quest is to make 250 longbows, which is difficult at the best of times, however this time it started counting from zero when I logged on, rather than from midnight. This means that I lost 6 hours of production time and that I'm going ot have to stay up until almost midnight tonight to click the finish button. It also means that anyone logging on later in the day has no chance.

yes they start when you log in. In future if you are not likely to be online when the quest starts you can ask a friend to stop by your island and buff something, i believe this also starts the production count.
