What happened: I had two explorers coming home with 30 platinum ore each and the ore was first recognized by the quest and then later after re entering TSO it looked like this.

What happened: I had two explorers coming home with 30 platinum ore each and the ore was first recognized by the quest and then later after re entering TSO it looked like this.
Was your platinum smelter running while you were logged out?
yes
Then the platinum ore it used will have been subtracted from your total.
Easiest way to do this is just to do a 2 way trade with a fellow guild member.
