Watched this sort of thing get introduced into WoW many years ago and started the rise of the robot market orders should be banned by BB in it's infancy.

I know what it is and what I saying is it opens the door to market bots.

This approach concerns me as well. Experienced players (I suspect) keep records of transactions and to an extent market trends, but I think a stock-market data ticker will lead down the road of auto-trading.
Sorry, but I've slept since then...

I think its a great idea as long as it is kept reasonably uptodate.

We had a similar tool (castleempire) back in 2012 which clearly did not make us all into auto traders but actually encouraged trade. We have had no ingame guide of note for a long time now in Northisle (not one that is kept uptodate) and I personally think this is why trade has dropped. I think trading is an important part of the game and not being utilised enough. When players learn about trade and start to dabble they want a guide then later they become a bit more confident and try different trades of their own.

How do you collect this information? Have you reverse engineered the active script messages that the servers and clients use and use that to request the content of the trade office from the servers?
