Shouldnt be a problem for anyone who bothered to swap some farms/ watermills to the new ones.
The only point where it really becomes an issue is if you want to run 2x elite barracks on x3 buffs at all time and want to use regular lvl6 barracks on buffs too - thats where the bread production for population would start consuming too much water and wheat.

Personally producing population to make troops in the Elite barracks involves 0 bread, 1K+ pop a day from mayors and schools unbuffed makes bread production a non issue here. Those using breadmen are long used to producing the troops to run fairy tales are also not going to have a bread issue either. Obviously with the current drop rate of horses from adventures with the exception of quests calling for horse production our stables are asleep.

The first issue is obtaining the adventures in the first place, there is no point in producing twice as many troops than you can commit to a adventure. However the big issue is having the weapons production capacity, do you have the licences and free space to build all the weapon chain buildings a 2nd Elite barracks would call for.
When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's

Having thought about this a little more I would prefer an Improved Elite barracks and a Improved Barracks available through Gems and possibly incorporated free in some later event say Easter next year, giving people the option to buy now and the prospect of those who want it free to get it. This would give those who desire more troops the ability to get them, would alleviate the need for buffs if your more casual and generate some short term income for BB.

For those who keep going on about this should be a slow game, it's as slow as you make it, you have the mechanics to slow it down those who want to speed it up any further than is already possible cannot. They can however still get tons of xp from mini quest drops from ls, some might feel they want to achieve 75 just from their own efforts and improving their troop production would be key to that.

Brilliant idea! Every barracks producing ALL troop type would give so much more capacity and flexibility!!

Also save that rusting junk bucket of an acadamy becoming an eyesore.

How about an epic workyard to combine all 3 troop types in 1 building? 3 production queues in 1 extra building similar to ewy and efy..
Bit of space issue with epic workyards but might be worthwhile..

Been proposed already on some of the other language versions.

Generally a good idea allowing for flexible unit production. The thing I dont like about it though is that production times in epic workyards are usually set arbitrarily by BB and not always make sense (while second E Barracks simply doubles your production). That and the fact that workyard buff is x2 while we already have x3 and x4 barrack buffs (although one can argue that soup is way more accessible).

Could perhaps be linked to the idea about jack & the beanstalk adventure chain that has been proposed... to unlock production in epic barracks similar to the other epics.

    Wink

I want 5 elite barracks and 5 bookbinders. Maybe at least 3 rarity provision houses would be nice too.
Sorry, but I've slept since then...
