How about making the flags so that they fly on a flag post on the Mayor's house instead of taking up ground space?

Re which flags, maybe all that take part in the Olympics so as to cover almost all, and add Vatican City to acknowledge it being the smallest country.

Can you tell us, would these flags be made available before this event expires, or in readiness for the next one in 2 years time?

Just so we know whether to keep some footballs aside for them if it's going to be this event

I am afraid there is no way they can get implemented this event as this would mean creating and deploying another game version.
The art/objects for an event are prepared a long time in advance so 3 months ago would probably still have been too late for this event.

Union Jack would be nice while there is still a Union. for the next event a Jack might be more appropriate
