There's different quest for different levels. And the quest to produce Saltpeter is only for levels 66-75.

The event is nearly over. I like Events and have been looking forward to event - so had most of my guild. We had a great time during Easter event helping each other and helping our new guildies with event.

This event we had hoped would be just as fun- but must say it was not and when we talked about it on Sunday - most of us was glad it was over.

All in all, this is way to complicated for new players to cope with. And that is very sad, because past experience was that event is a nice opportunity to get new players to have fun with the game and to help each other with event.

For our 3 newbies all of the noble fields have run out before they had a chance to understand what it was for. If you are left with common and maybe even small fields - then not much motivation doing adventures to get refills - drop-rate is much to slow to get much out of them.
Yes you can get the fertilizer,- but once they are bombed - then you cant.

For me it kind of spoiled the fun to get the refills not pumps - as I have wrote before, I not just hate the fields - I really really really hate them. But I like to do all the achievement in an event.
I also like that it pays to be active. My motivation to do lots of adventures was gone because of the refills.
My motivation to help newbies kind of gone too - they did not understand about the refills anyway and soon did not have the fields to put then in.

Yes you can just give them the pumps - but that would spoil the game for them. More fun to earn them yourself.

This event gives experienced players more than plenty, it is really hard for new players and it is really really expensive for some players, because of all the titanium needed. Over a certain level you have plenty of it and plenty of Platinum too - so the golem part is kind of unfair favoring the high level players.

So please - go back to just giving us pumps in adventure loot.
Cut down the amount you get from explorers,- it is a bit too easy and a bit unfair that you can just have lots of explorers and get plenty that way.

Make the whole thing more simple so newbies can have some fun too.

Un like urd123 I like the variety, however I agree with most of everything else that was said. The overall pumpkin acquiring was easy for the higher levels and much, much harder for the lower levels by comparison. From chat, the Ali's seem to have the best drop rate for refills...again higher levels benefit, why? It can't be for extra resources required to do them, as FT's in my experience were clearly not balanced the same way . If events are going to get over the imbalance between higher and lower levels when it requires doing addy's to get event resources. The only way I can see it happening is by grouping certain addy's to the level group as in quests, and therefore preventing higher levels farming lower level addy's to get the higher event resources put into these aimed at lower levels, and that includes loot spots. There must be a way to remove event resources gained in loot linked to player level, oh and did I mention NO zero's where the player makes the effort and qualifies
This use to be my favourite event, in terms of `fun' and challenge, but not this time around, and I'm not saying that because I didn't get what I wanted from merchant, in fact I got more than I wanted. I am a higher level, been around a long time player after all, and like all players like me I have more options. I do think we need to `encourage' new and lower level players to stay with the game, events are a good opportunity to do this which we shouldn't dismiss.
Are we to be told of adventure changes or not? 1 Month on and still SNEAKY RB changes have not been mentioned

Wait, you want to limit older players because we been here longer? lol, good luck with that. BB recognises that its the veterans that keep this game running, those noobs u talking about are a dime a dozen on here, they either like the game and stay or get to level 15-25 and quit.

New players are not meant to do well in events, its a learning curve for them, With quests, fields, golems etc every new player this year had a chance for at least a general, guilds should of been advising low level players about their pumpkin fields and how they work.

For now the event is a walk in the park for the old players. I am not even really an old player - been playing 2 years, but there was no challenge for me. I have plenty of titanium and more than plenty of platinum. so the Golem part was easy. I had found all the collies needed after first week or shorter, had done all quests after 2- 3 days, had done all the tricking and treating pretty fast, I only did what I had to to get the 400 refills then started to sell refills, and go back to just doing the advs I would if there was no event - (alibaba and the fishermans wife series).

The way I see it achievements should be possible for all to achieve if they make an effort - this year for the high level players it was very hard not to achieve them. It was impossible for the players under level 56 to achieve the last of the golem ones, and it was extremely expensive for them, because they dont have that much titanium.
For low level players who are still learning the game, this event is not something that encourage them to go on and have fun. It is too complicated and some of it too hard. The refill from advs addition kind of shunned them from having much out of doing adventures to get pumps

This is not about limiting older players,- it is about making an event fun for all. For something to be fun - it must be possible if you try hard enough and make an effort. If it is too easy or too hard the fun is gone. I got lots and lots of pumps from explorers - I still do even though event should be over. Nice and easy yes, but still think it would be more fair to lower the amount we get from that source and raise the amount we get from actually doing something - like doing adventures.

Yes - and find some other way people who loves sitting in front of computer and applying buffs at the right time, to get refills to grow pumps, - and let the rest of be able to limit this side of the game to a minimum.

No Mutantkid, I want a balance. What is in it for the established player if you can complete the event in a matter of days ? We have ( or should have ) the economies to cope with a more restrictive access to event resources from low level adventures. We have more options to acquire event resources through previous event specialists, and more buying power in the TO. And I wouldn't be so dismissive about new players either, without them the veterans will not sustain the game. In stead of taking it for granted that newbies are going to quit at level 15-25, I would be inclined to look to why they are quitting and address the reason. Events are where we can encourage newbies to stay and build for the next event, if we don't how many of the veterans now disappear off the game between events, and how is that going to effect how BB see's its investment?
All I'm saying is events need to equalise across the levels so no level `feel' that they are `more' disadvantaged than others, everyone can enjoy the event activity and adventures are an area where this could happen without penalising the `veterans' ( except to make them work for their event items on a par to their level ). If done correctly it won't reduce the amount veterans will get from the merchant compared to a lower level, but it might mean that they don't complete the event on day one

so there are 2 problems with refills from adventures?
first the new players dont get enough refills from low level adventures?
second old players play the low level adventures to get more refills?
    huh?

And to add my point of view: this event was first fun event for a looong time. Since the start of removing event resources after end of event events have been an endless grind. After all the time and effort ive put into this i think i deserve some rest and relaxation. You can keep your challenges and grind. Id rather quit.. Nobody asked you to go through event content in 2 days and make it boring for yourself.
