The 24h time-limit in current Guild Quest system do not only neglect casual playing but also heavily reduce the possibility to cooperate.
- By extending the GQ time-limit to 48 hours, casual players would be able to finish their GQ by their self and there would be time enough to cooperate.
- By keeping the 24 hours generating, a new GQ would still be given every day to solve.
Unlike the old GQ system, GQs are independent from each other in the current GQ system - time is the limit.
Thereby, there are no technically restrictions to allow guilds having 2 GQs active - one new (more than 24h remaining), one old (less than 24h remaining).
Of course, the Guild Quest info in the (Guild) Members tab has to be altered, but that's really no big deal - could be changed to "Old", "New", "Both" and "Completed".
Some suggest there have to be a waiting quest like in the old GQ system, but that will never happen again due to the progression issues.
Sure, they could once more revamp the GQ system and add some code to give us a "GQ preview", but that's not a small thing to do.
Also, adding a "GQ preview" wouldn't do much to increase (even less restore) the possibility to cooperate.
