i still think get a random amount of tokens and spend those tokens in a shop is much better than random loot. even if u only get 1 token it's a little progress towards ur goal and i often wonder if luck is an included stat when u create an account (like d&d type stats) as most of my guildies have far better "random loot" than i could ever hope to see!
27th failed attempt! You know what is not funny? That I know this is bugged, but developers will not admit it.
i stopped playing in September due to this after 20+ tries ,i just jump in occasionally to see the topic and if injustice is fixed .. my sympathy Grumsi

Took me 62-64 tries to get the Manuscript recipe, so I have no idea why you whine about your meager 20+ tries tbh.

Here is 29th failed attempt. I am sure this thread will be alive in 2022 and I will still be here counting my failed attempts! It is a bug, when will they admit it?
Well it sucks but there is no bug if its just random and the added fail safe mechanism activates after +40-50 tries. You also seem to have bad luck with getting letter snippets if it takes you almost 3 weeks to make a single long letter. Also remember that the current design is based around on the fact that some people can try it every few days and they are never left empty handed as gems and xp are acquired. With the gems they can buy prem and double the crystals you get per week from daily quests.
