You ultimately pay gems for it anyway once you run out of crystals all people want is a set price.

If you don't like the paying style that's fine, don't pay for it, but plenty of other are buying gems, I could spend the next 50 years trying to get these recipes, even if we could buy the letter quests for gems with a 100% chance of getting the recipe at the end it would be good-100 no I don't like the paying style, just play and get what you deserve
random loot is a horrible system. I have had to buy 99% of my res's from to. would be better if u could earn some kind of points towards a final goal and maybe the amount of points could be random. this would also give incentive to do advs as many of us lack the desire to start yet another adv a day after finishing 1. at least with the evil queen chain ur guaranteed a recipe every time u complete the chain. its still random tho and i'm a bit fed up with trying to get the silo recipe
after having said all that, I wouldn't like to see things like this in the shop. you may as well put every single game item in there. then we could buy everything we wanted and there would be no need to play the game!

For those who still don't know: don't waste your crystal's until a new dev diary or update comes. They are adding a guaranteed loot system to the game.
General skill tree is coming soon so I thought I would post this. Also guaranteed loot is a backward step in my opinion - please think again BB.
After about 25 failed attempts to get the manuscript recipe I analysed everything I had done , read all the comments on the forum and came up with a theory. I then got it on my very next attempt. Was fun working this out - more please BB
This is how it works. If you have no recipes in rarity provision house the chances are 1 in 19 ; if you have all the recipes except the books the chances are 1 in 3. Simple. Hope this works for you.
