I lost the count too, but I'm probably near 20 without the recipe, same for another guildie

Managed to get the Tome recipe on the first try, but still on manuscript recipe.

I'm almost ready to give up hoping that I'll get the manuscript recipe, Ive done over 30 quests and am stuck on a diet of compass quests that require me to make a tome which takes ages.
I'll keep plugging away at this nut am definitely not wasting gems on this recipe.
