I think the option to have either gems or crystals on day 7 sounds cool, but I do appreciate most save their gems for buying vital items like generals etc. Maybe give that as a choice at some point?
As for Excelsior itself, I'm absolutely loving it and all the various options we have and quests to be done. This is so much more preferable as a daily log in and quest to the usual silly amount of copper ore and 2 xbows a week
29 gems is 1 crystal so the 100 gems would be changed to 3 (or 4 if we are really lucky) crystals.Originally Posted by Jim_B

This suggestion is by far the worst I've ever seen on TSO. Please keep gems on the 7th day.If OP wants to be creative, please come up with better ideas then removing a gift so vital for so many. The game is not only for havy gem buyers or for those who played from the start and have used all gem pits.
Appart from that, yes, Excelsior is absolutely lovely and crystals instead of previous daily login rewards highly appreciated.

I really don't get the hostility - it's a no from BB anyway so it's moot, but the point was there's gems to be had from excelsior and if the 100 gems was replaced with a 15 crstal reward, you'd probably get 2 mini quests. The odds of getting 100 gems from a couple of easy excelsior quests along with the associated loot and xp seemed better to me than just 100 gems straight. Nevermind. It won't happen.

And the point from the critics is that it's not as easy as you presume. The easy stuff is easy only for established players. You are also forcing ppl to buy into a random mechanic with uncertain results. Basically you are asking to get what you feel benefits you at this time to the detriment of others. So yea, gonna be a bit upset at the suggestion.
it's a slot machine? and the best quests for gems are the ones aimed at around lv20??? still confused why that's not easy for everyone? You'd get more gems! sheesh! nevermind - unpopular suggestion. Sorry to offend everyone so violently. I'm out.
