No, I want to go back to when Bandit Nest had a 35% chance to drop RBN - and that one had a near-100% chance to drop up to 4 books between Script and Codex.

Yes, tell that to the lvl 51 and 52 that got today " The Library" DQ. They even cant have a shot to get the quest for manuscript receipe.

if this is the sort of DQ that they have come up with it really shows how few of the BB team actually play the game. Looks to me like the sort of daft quests we were given when they first changed the GQ system. Lets hope someone reviews the inputs here or an a thread specifically re the new DQ's and makes some sensible alterations.

I think that is utter rubbish. I and many others would say that the RNG is not set at 50 %, and never has been.

RNG? That one escapes me... Are we talking about the chance to get the manuscript recipe? That's what I was talking about.

Of course if the shown information is wrong, then clearly you can't trust what the chances will be. Regardless, empirical evidence from the posts I've read said it is likely to be a reasonable percentage because many people have gotten the manuscript recipe on the 1st go, some on the 3-5th go, and some have tried over and over. For myself I've tried 4 times. Not getting it (assuming 50% is correct) is not that long of odds actually, so I'm not surprised or deterred.

I think I would agree with that, depending on how many materials I happen to be sitting on. You can make 2 per day without a lot of effort, so I might do it depending on other factors. Overall however it is a high price.

Actually 2 a day if you only have book binder is only possible with that building at level 5 and above.
