First of all, thank you for making small quests between events. That said, I think you disrespect players a little bit when you announce Crisis Quest with such short notice. The longest upgrade for production buildings are 10 days and some players are in progress upgrading ex. their Production House (7 days) can end up not having a chance of completing the quest without the use of gems.
In forward improvement you could announce the quest in due time advance so players have the chance to finish any upgrades of buildings neede in the quest.
Hope this constructive crtisism is received well :-)

I guess we're all looking for different things from the game. I like the crisis quests and I never plan for the seasonal quests. In other games I play there is no warning of special quests. They just appear with a timer countdown and I decide whether or not I'm going to take a break from the main quests to do this special chain or not. It's my game and therefore my choice .. what is going ot be most enjoyable for me. I decide how far I will go with a special quest depending on how much time I have and how involved I am in the main quests at that time and it's not a disaster if I don't get all the prizes every time! I just enjoy playing.

14:00 - lunch break. Tried to log in. FAILED: HOTFIX
18:30 - come home from work. Tried to log in. FAILED: ===???

I'm done with step 1.1, should be done with step 1.2 but can't complete it.

Other players who are not working are now about 12 hours ahead of me, all thanks to BB server stability.
Yes, I know we get an additional day.

It's just really, really sad that the playing field is being unlevelled in disfavour of working people by BB.

(quick side note @BB: Who do you think is actually PAYING for gems in this game?)

What a load of crap! How about you just make the game work instead of finding new ways to break it!
