combat preview option-useless(step counter instead)

general has this option(combat preview) and i don't remember ever using it, maybe in the begining until i found simulators ..
it gives you vague outcome of battle, and it has no use what so ever

i was thinking what COULD be useful for general instead , and i figured that i often need STEP COUNTER to make sure my block works fine ..

suggestion is that that option gives little numbers that show how many steps general do before the attack,or enter area of effect

+1, a total counter would be great, an intercept counter would be useful but not as useful as the total counter. Both would be top but the worlds never that great.

it could be helpful if it is combat preview + step counter in the same window, I think if you don't use it, not meant people don't use it, for me I use sim, but I use it sometimes just to confirm my build is OK with correct camp, rarely use it, but yes still I use it sometimes.

The main thing I use it for is the interception warning, particularly when looking for a camp to hit on a loot spot.
The rest of it's functionality is all but useless now that we have several different combat simulators available.
However, some sort of flag counter could be a very useful addition to some players, myself included.

sounds like u like to work things out for urself rather than relying on a guide. Surely part of the fun is working this kind of stuff out for urself. Having a button to do it for u would be a step towards total automation of the game.

Its awkward as hell to count all the flags especially on long walks.
