Thread: Your general has been intercepted!!

    Your general has been intercepted!!

Most of us have been in this situation - An unexpected message pops up saying that your general has been intercepted, an unplanned one that immediately puts you into a panic… You access the star menu as quickly as you can, then often the specialist tab (as like me you might have not changed it over for the adventure yet), you then try and work out which general it is before clicking him, then you frantically find and click the retreat button. All of this takes time, no matter how quick you are, as there is additional delay in bringing the menus up. All the time you are breaking out into a sweat wondering if you are going to make it and working out just how many many cannoneers you are at risk of losing. For PVP its even worse, since the marshalls are moving more quickly.

So, I'd like to see a quick retreat button next to, or embedded into the original pop up that notifies you of an interception. Maybe a little white flag button there or something. At least this will give us a chance of recalling the general or marshall in time. I dont think it will ruin the game too much as the danger of an unplanned interception is still there, but you can react more quickly. The way I see it is that the game has warned you of an event, but you cant react to it very easily, mainly due to a little lag in accessing menus. If we are warned about something, we should at least have the capability of acting on it more quickly.

Forgive me if this has been covered before, I did a forum search on it but couldn’t see anything

why don't you just click on the generals, you've sent, on the map ?

You could, yes, but takes time. Click star, short wait, work out which general, click general, short wait, click retreat.
Ok maybe not so big deal for adventures, but for pvp it would be handy I think.

Yeah good idea, specially with new generals skills, 1 skill will increase walking speed of general, so for sure you will not even have time to click general and retreat, specially with the game lag, make things more and more worst.

OK let me ask you one simple question. Are you using star menu to send your attacks?
When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's

No, I click on the camp usually.
But here's my question. You've sent out three marshalls to three separate camps and an unexpected pop up tells you that one of them has been intercepted. Would you find that Marshall on the map (click pop up takes you there - I know) click the camp then click retreat, or would you one click a panic button next to the original pop up? I know what I would do.

i know where they are located on the map click retreat, click retreat, click retreat
the idea of a full retreat button is nice, but i personally wouldn't use it. On normal adventures i like to attack several camps at once, all on different sides. Retreat all would annoy me.
With pvp you know you have to keep an eye on the marshals for fast retreating, zoom out, mouse pointer near general, watch them all and you know exactly which one is being a pain in the behind.
And that's where you kind of lost me, when you send 3 marshals out, you also looked at the agro zones and know which marshal can be intercepted where. Then why, frantically, click on star, search between aaaallll the different marshals this game has and find the rotten apple that way

No, not a 'retreat all ' button for all gens out, just a little white flag next to his mug shot when the message pops up, top left.
I get it right most times with agro zones and planning attacks etc, so hear what you're saying, but still get caught out now and then. Maybe with undivided attention on a pc with mouse and large screen it's not an issue, but I'm usually on the tablet.
