Settlers 3 trip down memory lane

one of the best games I ever played (and still do from time to time).

Back in the 1990's I got the very special edition with the figurines. However since we have moved a few times since then, they are a little worse for wear lol

I was sent these from a player when I was a MOD in Settlers4 (the best game in the series for me ),I had forgotten about them, until we moved house a couple of years ago,and I found them again, really wish they had made them for every series they brought out..love the Amazon one,I really enjoyed playing that class, many many years ago, very challenging missions, but sadly not played by many in online games

Took me a while to work out that half of her bow is missing! Looks like she has boomerang now. :P

the Roman lost his sword and shield, the Egyptian his lance and the Amazon half of her bow. Here's how they originally looked, taken from the original BB website:

I'd love to see this guys back, perhaps as part of a mysterious island discovered by Sonya Graham? Oh and of course the Settlers 3 music in it's entirety. The Asian track was most haunting..

I think anyone whose playing TSO and hasnt played any of the original series, are really missing out.I have all in the series, but S3 offline and S4 online were my favourites, after S4 the series lost its interest for me,it changed far too much..

At least you can say that they're properly battle-hardened!

Never knew about the figurines, they look great!

I played 1-4, although I started with 3 then got a CD with 1 & 2 and later played 4... Then there were the Rise of Culture and the 10th Anniversary editons, ahh good memories!

I then sadly wasted money on 6, which is not using any of the previous game settings, but luckily I found my old Settlers 3 + Amazons and managed to get it running again (mostly)
