I used to resent paying manuscripts for a Daily Quest even before the introduction of General Skills increased demand for them even more.
Today, however, it feels like someone is trying to extract the urine as well as take away my books:

I complete this. Yes you can cancel but the crystals are too tempting. I've given up on getting enough books anytime soon so hey.

I have seen you 'poo-poo' a lot of suggestions over the years Doro... usually your reasons for doing so are quite good, but I find it hard to believe what you are strongly implying here, namely that you are perfectly happy with a DQ that boils down to a choice of either sacrificing books to complete it or missing out on valuable crystals by cancelling it.Originally Posted by Dorotheus

+1, I can and do cancel. Mainly on the grounds the reward doesn't seem high enough for 2 manuscripts, might just be worth it for 1 manuscript.
It's a choice... you can get the cristals or the books... quests are already too easy...
Don't like it cancel and wait for next day. That's what i do.
Just skip it. Or pay up. Either way it's your choice.
