Having guaranteed recipes after so many tries, does that mean we are guaranteed to not get them on the first, second or third try?

i like the idea of guaranteed recipes. it means if u don't win a recipe at least u r 1 step closer and making progress. I'd love to see this implemented elsewhere too, e.g. witch tower from rb.
Thank you very much, BB. I'm excitedly looking forward to it.The Manuscript, Tome and Codex recipe will be guaranteed after a certain amount of tries. Past tries will be taken into account towards the guarantee.
The error introduced to the default setting of how much you can load into a mine deposit for example has not been corrected. It used to default to 1, now defaults to the maximum and is a recipe for a disaster as I have already found out
It is an error as the change is not mentioned in the change log at the time of the introduction of the "General Skills"
I'm sure many frustrated players will welcome the recipe change.
As per the official post: "Past tries will be taken into account towards the guarantee."
I assume this to mean that (for example) I've played the entire Evil Queen change 5 times. After this change my next attempt will be considered try #6 (e.g. the previous being taking into account) - or does it mean after the change the number of tries will start being counted?
I'm assuming the former but I want clear to be clear on it. Thanks
Sorry, but I've slept since then...
Not so much a "new feature" as the correction of a genuinely AWFUL and frustrating old feature. Points for trying to spin it any other way!
What's my compensation for getting the recipes I have the old way?
So much fixed with so much that still needs to be fixed, as well as some much needed updates like a bookbinder queue.
