Lightbulb Game suggestion: Farms provide housing

As I`m always in need for additional housing options and my space for building houses is getting smaller, I come up with the idea to farms provide housing. While depending on levels, normal farms could provide 0.5 housing and improved farms could provide 1 housing. What do you think about this?

Erm normal farms hold 1/2 a settler so 50 farms would be 0 extra settlers!
When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's

But, your math is wrong 50x0.5= is not 0 its 25... also this housing increases with level of farms. so if you have 50 farms that are level 6 you would get 150 settlers... while if you have 50 Improved farms that are level 6 you would get 300 settlers...

.5 is not a whole number so the game would have to either round up or round down, normally it's only when they run conversion scripts do we see rounding up, other wise it's rounding down. however as you have explained it now you could say +1 for every even level.

The rounding with this game is always up, so even if it is 0.01 it is = 1, as for example, 1R with level 1 first aid, is never lost, also the round is done for final result not for the base, when you get 1 barazek with loot + 50% prem you get extra 1, if you got 2 barazek you get only 1 too because it is not (1 * 1.5 rounded to 2 and 1 * 1.5 rounded to 2= 4, but (1+1) * 1.5 = 3).

    So, if it is it is level 6 * 50 farm, 0.5 * 6 = 3 * 50 = 150 settlers.

BTW with this way level 5 is like level 6, because of 0.5 * 5 = 2.5 rounded to 3 * 50 = 150. if they do the total of total then it will be correct like 2.5 * 50 = 125 but i think this way will come to more calculation and means more lag.

Build housing at 5 of your 6 fields, then you have room for way more settlers...
