Why is there a need to reset password to be able to log into Forums ???
    Disgraceful.
The ability to login has also affected the Forum MODs

MODs don't control the front page of the web site... BBs do... and they all disappeared off to the pub at clocking off time!

Different departments. Not all ingame MODs are Forum MODs.
Some MODs were able to login before Uplay went offline. Others were not so lucky.

More than 8hrs outage that effected MODs too didn't even get a mention on the home page and no promise of marble compensation even.
Facebook and Twitter had messages about the failure but the game affected had no mention of any problem at all on the Homepage.
Lessons need to be learned how to deal with these situations in future and how best to keep players informed, silence is no way to deal with it.

I will ask again, "WHY is there a need to reset password to be able to login to Forums"? players managed to do it, MODs didn't it seems.

    Yep. You nailed it.

They can take their game and... well, yes, there.

Treat others as they treat you.

Good riddance TSO - I will no longer give you disk space.

The information was on the facebook page. Infact. it has over 100 comments.
As for not being on the front page aswell, have you ever thought that with Uplay being down that even BB couldn't login to post there?
If at first you don't succeed, sky-diving is not for you.
