Links are allowed if they are to TSO related sites, why would anyone want chats flooded with people's latest favourite music etc?
Let alone links to what you might call "prank" sites -- (or worse).
Tis fine as it is.
It would only take one player to link a virus in chat and then you'd all be blaming Blue Byte for not protecting you. It's better left the way it is now.
