Cartographer - for mapping and inventory of buildings

I find it tricky to keep track of what buildings I have and where. I usually trawl the Economy listings to identify the buildings.

A cartographer could be sent out to inventory the buildings and draw a simplified map of my properties. I would need to resend him/her whenever I make changes or significant changes, but they could also identify places available for expansion such as rock which can be excavated, or shoreline which could receive floating residences.

Possibly an advanced (or educated with books) cartographer could make suggestions on optimising layout?

i'm a little confused. u can do all this now far quicker than sending out a specialist. just scroll around ur map looking for free spots. try building a field while doing this to see highlighted areas. hover over rocks to see which can be destroyed (i use test server to see how much space will be freed up). try moving a floating res and available spots will be highlighted. I see no use for a cartographer's suggestions as i enjoy working out how to optimise things myself.

It would be good tho to have a list of residences and other buildings which are not currently in the overview. I know it would mean some clutter but i;d like to see all buildings listed there.
