When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's
Q: What is our current understanding of the skill tree, and how may our current understanding of the skill tree be challenged by the campaign?
A: In the first (= left) column, we find special combat skills. They are special because they affect only certain units or unit types. In the second column, we find general combat skills. They are general because they affect all units. (Juggernaut and Weekly Maintenance are exceptions.) Our current understanding is that the general combat skills are superior to the special combat skills. The exceptions are specialized generals, e.g. Rapid Fire or Unstoppable Charge for sacs.
Let’s take, for example, the skill "Sniper Training". Currently, it's basically useless. This is because Crossbowmen and Armored Marksmen (AMM) are always* superior to Longbowmen and Marksmen (MM). This, however, would change, if the army’s accuracy were reduced to 0 %. In this case, Longbowmen would deal min = max damage = 69, and MM would deal min = max damage = 115, compared to Crossbowmen dealing only min damage = 45 and AMM dealing only min damage = 100. The difference seems insignificant, but it becomes significant if foes have e.g. 101-115 or 201-230 HP. In these cases, it would require two resp. three AMM to defeat one foe, and one resp. two MM to defeat one foe. In other words, under these conditions MM could be up to 100 % more efficient than AMM.
Now, is there any hint that accuracy may be reduced? I think yes, it is:
* With the exception of sacs.
- Weather effects create debuffs
Q: Do think that such a change is both probable and plausible?
A: You tell me. Have there been any complaints that Marksmen are useless or not?
Q: But that’s pretty bad, right? I mean in this case, we have to re-skill our generals!
A: No, not necessarily. What I think is that in most cases, the Champions and General Majors will mainly use general combat skills. Their skill setups are still useful in other campaigns. That’s what they were made for. Additionally, weather effects can be assumed to be temporary. They may change during the adventure, that is something we don’t know yet. So instead of re-skilling Generals it may be a good strategy to create specialists.

I do agree.
I love to have new game content - but maps with snow I would predict me doing only once.
Please make a buff or something to change the colour and make it possible for those of us with non perfect eyes to enjoy doing these maps also.
It could make the snow go green or what ever - just as long as I would not have to stare at all that white
If for some reason support feels the need to edit what I wrote, please delete entire post instead, dont put words into my mouth that I never said.
