    with generals having skills your general may be very different. Its best to run the various camps yourself in a sim to find the best combinations of troops.





    about the ONLY real point of guides is the blocks and starting locations for generals now.



    If a 200 troop general can take the camp....so can mary. that's the general rule. Losses are of course expected to be higher then a MG/MMA/vargus/etc and its if they are acceptable or not if u use mary.


    Mary is powerfull enough that in two places in Young Woodcutter I let her get intercepted and take down 2 camps at once with only one of those needing an 1r MMA before(or risk lossing a few mounted marksmen).

    Mary can take out every L camp(from evilJ guide) in woodcutters except the very last one.

    Sidenote: I sacrificed her with a load full of recruits on the last camp for an extra boost.

    Thanks, there's one version of ToK (unskilled + skilled Mary), but I've added your post in spoilers with other skilled-only versions, ToK is quite confusing, so it's good to have at least one version for those who use Wiki's camps numbers.

    Ah, I see it now. One with Master Planner. It's always good with variety.
    It was easier for me to use the wiki map as reference since i had to sim all camps anyway and, as you said, ToK can get confusing.

    It's possible to use Mary with Rec+XBow to kill Alex, if you don't have cannons, but wave-1 would have to kill more troops (Veteran needed) or kill at least some Scallywags (MMA needed). XP is still nice (15k XP for Alex alone, 17250 XP if Mary has FastLearn-3 skill)
    If you want to kill all Bullies and Scallywags, try: wave-1 Any general 200R, wave-2 Any general 115R. This should leave Alex alone in the camp, so wave-3: Mary 38 Rec 162 XBow [total loss: 353R]. Total XP = 17,400 (2,400 from waves 1 + 2, and 15k from Mary killing Alex).

    One of the waves can be MMA (would attack Ruffians first), also Vargus or Dracul are ok as wave-1 and wave-2. Don't use 2 MMAs, and also avoid Nusala, Anslem because they would kill Scallywags, taking away from Mary lots of XP.

    Bob alone is worth 35k XP for Mary Christmas (40.2k XP if Mary has Fast Learner-3), killing all other troops with normal generals with add 6k XP to it.
    This one camp is worth half of an adventure from the Fairy Tale category, this should help you decide what losses are OK for you.

    Regular Army:
    (all generals without any skills)
    wave-1 Anslem 150R (kills 30-41 Grouch, 40-50 Scallywag)
    wave-2 Veteran 250R (kills 70 Grouch, 6 Scallywag)
    left in camp: 4 Scallywag, 1 Bob
    wave-3 Mary 56 Soldier 4 Bowman 140 XBow [total loss: 400R 55S 4B]

    This is just one example of possible solutions, Anslem is most effective as wave-1 suicider, but of course you can use MMA(s) or Nusala first to reduce the number of Scallywags, then Recruits with Tavern general (or Veteran). For waves 1 and 2 it's better to use only Recruits or (if first wave(s) killed some Scallywags) Recruits and then Bowmen. No matter what generals you choose, Cavalry is a bad idea.
    And if your Mary has some skills (like Overrun or Battle Frenzy), your losses can be lower.
