I could say it's way too expensive for the reward - more in time than resources but still ...;-)

I see no justifiable reason why high level players should avoid having to donate troops consistent with their level as the lower tiers of players have to do the same. At least the resource cost is a fraction of what the lower levels are expected to pay.
When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's

it's way too expensive for the reward in my opinion and I think all of my guild mates. There are a few delete troops quests around, all are resented given the slow build time for these troops.
Yes we can just not do it and so on. Also i can ask that it get removed.
Resource cost other than time to build is not even a consideration

This is one guild quest that I refuse to do, as the time needed to replace 90 elite troops, is in my opinion, not balanced compared with ordinary troops.

I'm just curious, which part is the most expensive? Maybe, the gun powder? It's about 480 gun powder without buffs, I think? With 4 Saltpeter mines (level 2 with Steaks), I can get them in about 3 or 4 hours. And, 40 Mounted Marksmen take 3 hours and 20 minutes to train.

40 mounted marksmen - that is way to expensive.I do accept the gunpowder grout and beans quest now, earlier on they where too expensive. But this one is way way out. Cant think of any sane player who would do this
If for some reason support feels the need to edit what I wrote, please delete entire post instead, dont put words into my mouth that I never said.

I agree, it is extraordinarily expensive in the time taken to replace these Elites.
