if ya don't want to implement all 3 attributes, maybe... 1) finding at same speed as jolly (2x), 2) always finding double-sized deposits, and 3) chance of faster deposits (50%?). I'd agree that just larger deposits adds very little new/special.
Otherwise, (we) always could use a geo that did something special for all those new deposits we need, like granite, titanium and saltpetre.

Well like said before 1 or 2 weeks before Easter.
So there is no maintenance announced for coming tuesday the 6th so probably the implementation of easter will be done on tuesday 13th and the event will start on tuesday the 20th.
If you look at last years events the math will be easy ;-)

im ready for when it starts. over 300k bronze swords 220k brew 220k bread and about 20k settlers in reserve along with about 150 addy. PH will be lvl 5 when it starts as its upgrading now. Got gems saved up to put 30 days premium on as well lol.
usually or for last few years easter 2016 was 27th march we had event start the 15th. in 2017 easter was april 16th we had event start 28th march and this year easter is april 1st so would guess event starting anytime from 15th to 20th march
as events usualy start on tuesdays the 20th is most likely.
I really can't see the point in all the moaning........you have a choice.......do it or don't do it.
It would be nice if this Iron specialist would have a nice combination of perks though. That is to say:
- Faster Iron mine search (faster than Jolly, say 15 or 20 minutes max, 10.5-14 with skills)
- Extra big depots (x1.5-x2.0 of normal deposit volume, stacking with Natural Digger skill if taken => x1.58-x2.08)
- Reasonable chance to find 2 mines (25-50%, stacking with Two Iron in One => 49-74%)
- Small (15%?) native chance to find a 'bonus' iron mine (stacking with Lucky Find if taken => 30%)
This would make it the all-round Iron mine searcher end-boss of choice worthy of its name, instead of only x2.0 deposit volume.
