Opposite Day: Share your best anti-TSO guide!

    Dear settlers,

Throughout time and from the very beginning, you have shared your game knowledge with the others, you have helped your colleagues understand the game and have created guides on how to conquer your home island and play adventures in The Settlers Online.

On this day, we'd like you to do the opposite: put your creativity to good use and tell us what's the worst way of playing the game. You can start by creating an infamous list:

    1. Leave your explorers at home, they never find what you want anyway...
    2. Always let your Arctic Iron Mines run out of ore... the depleted mine looks so much better!
    3. When reaching the enemy camp, don't attack. Instead, pretend that you were just passing by and observe how they start attacking your troops.

What does your anti-guide look like?

Put the buildings as far away from you storehouse as you can. The productivity will increase enough by upgrading.
And talking about storehouses: They dont produce anything and only take away building licences. I recommend you to build one storehouse per sector.
And dont waste your precious gems on the improved ones. They dont waste your Licences but they ruin your (parent's) account. ;D

Use a 48-hour buff on a ready-to-collapse mine. That will definitely keep it working...
"Few products escape the CHOAM touch... Logs, donkeys, horses, cows, lumber, dung, sharks, whale fur - the most prosaic and the most exotic... even our poor pundi rice from Caladan. Anything the Guild will transport, the art forms of Ecaz, the machines of Richese and Ix. But all fades before melange." — Duke Leto Atreides, Dune

Make sure you never complete a Guild quest, then you will never have to worry about what to spend the Guild coins on!

When doing ABs you can mix n match MMs and AMs, the guides tell you how many but you'll still win the battle if you get mixed up between the 2.

Never bother to upgrade your production buildings more then level 3, and build them as many as you can, using building licences.
