+1 I agree with this idea. Unfortunately it has been suggested before and looks like it will not be implemented. The way I deal with this issue is to leave 1 elite dude with the general at all times so the general's menu will always be on elite troops.

yeah ... well .. if you only do ali adventures that would work. If not it just moves the problem.
