Tree Blocking tower for 1 sector.

I would love to be able to block trees in some sectors, but still be able to have a developed forest in others.

    Example:

    - I place a tree-blocking-tower in sector 1
    - The tower send out some electric field/lightning and burn down all trees
    - No trees respawn in sector 1 as long as tower is there
    - If i regret it i can remove my tower and trees will grow again

Perfect if we got 1 tower via quest, and rest could be bought for gems.

    - Would be usefull when planning out building placement on homeland, to remove all trees fast
    - Easyer to find collectables
    - Be able to have both (trees or no trees) instead like its now where you have to pick one.

Just stop your foresters for some time.

It is possible to run a treeless 'scorched earth' main island once you have access to the archipelago. I did just this by putting all wood production on the archi and leaving cutters on main (with no foresters) until its bare.

However this doesn't achieve the result the OP is looking for I fear, since you still cannot build in the locations where the stumps now are.
My reasons for doing this are to more easily see where everything is on the main island (including collectibles) not for more building space.

In general though, as with many if not most suggestions.... no chance

It is not to get more space to build, i know treestump stay But its alot easyer to plan your island if you could remove and replace trees fast.

there is no electricity in settlers.

turn off the majority of ur foresters. ur wood production will remain the same but ur trees will be minimal. u can find more info on this if u look around
