Hello fellow settlers,
I would really appreciate a button to pay the resources for a quest even if you don't have done the rest...
This way the "quest complete" banner would pop once the production, or other stuff the quest ask for, is done. At the moment you have to check manually from time to time if you can now can pay the resources, which is kind of a pain...

Yesss definitely agree with this - especially when its for a guild quest, if you forget to check back then time could run out and everyone in the guild gets less.

This is to prevent people from paying (expensive) resources but still failing to complete the whole quest. (paying damascene swords, but not completing VLT)
The problem is (as mentioned) that we don't get a pop up when the non-paying part of the quest is done.

But yes its a good point, you have the same problem with provision house recipes for quests that disappear wen the quest is validated.
Have they said you would, no they have not. The simple fact here is with the current system of pay at the end they are protecting themselves, they don't have to worry about what happens if the game goes down or if the player loses connection due to real world events of which they have no control. You are asking for BB to take responsibility for your decisions.No one said that you wouldn't get the resources back if the time limit of the quest runs out
When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's
How about a new popup arrow pointing at questbook in addition to current "Quest complete": "Quest ready to complete"?
I like this idea!
I'm pretty sure if we had the option to pay resources in advance then a bunch of people would be upset about losing them for various reasons stated above.
