Here's a new Settlers super villain.... THE MALEVOLENT MUSICIAN

    https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net...0d&oe=5B8B413E

The Nord stories tell of a raiding ship which landed on the Island of Chasms, north of their territory. It was eager to exploit the War of 5 centuries and the weakened state of the armies of the Three Kings.

Instead they found barren land, devastated, torn and clawed by more than just the forces of war. One lone survivor murmured of the treachery of the Kings and the scream from the singing towers, built to proclaim the beginning of a new age of unity, it was instead a weapon of undreamed of power.

The greedy Nord colonists listened eagerly to the survivor's wild tales of plans which would have seen the singing towers harness the wildest forces of nature - the storms which swept the deepest chasms . They planned to tear as much from their prisoner as they could in order to find a way to seek control over all Nords.

The vague tales tell that they found the Nords on that distant colony some weeks later. The population was now a mass of savage zombies, transformed by some unknown magic, and attacking their own people before they were wiped out by angry Nord overlords. The survivor from the Island of Chasms was gone...

..and then the stranger arrived in our realms. The Musician arrived on one of the smaller territories. He was dressed in the strangest garb: clothes patterned like sheets of music and adorned with glinting jewelled musical symbols, a charming master of all things musical. There was no instrument he could not master, no tune he could not play. The vain Prince who ruled wanted the finest compositions to be played at his wedding and with his collection of strange, bewitching symphonies and songs The Musician was the perfect choice. His price was high, and though he agreed, the Prince could not and would not pay.

There are scant stories of the Malevolent Musicians revenge. His brazen one man assault on the palace. The Prince's army laid waste by one man brandishing nothing more than a tambourine which rattled like an evil barrel of snakes and flicked out tongues of blue fire which burned human flesh mercilessly. Then the wedding guests immobilised by the strange raptor shriek from his trumpet tipped shoes and the Princess whisked away to join his choir of 'balladeers' - enthralled by the musician's strange and hypnotic siren song.....

... and now his sights are set on our islands. He lurks, waiting, ready to use his strange orchestra of weapons to steal the riches of our lands and subjugate our people for his own ends. The tale of the Malevolent Musician is about to begin.............

You need to add the url to the image where it's hosted. This needs to be hosted elsewhere, which can be done for free on sites like Imgur etc.

    Fortune Teller's Tent

Here is the fortune teller's tent - you can visit the fortune teller to cross their palm with silver to make predictions about your fortunes on future adventures. An adventure would be recommended which would also be based on player level and on completing the adventure, the percentage chance of getting a rare building from the adventure would be increased (e.g. witch tower, arabian palace, frozen manor etc.) There could also be a link to explorers and increase in the chances for finding a rare buff or rare adventure on a search.

Fortune telling is a risky business and so sometimes the fortune teller might summon the wrong kind of dark forces and your island could be plunged into darkness or a huge fire could destroy a percentage of a certain resource (again percentages would make it fair among high and low level players) or destroy some of the population.

Upgrades to the fortune teller might increase the price and also increase the fortune tellers accuracy in prediction (higher percentage chance of getting that item) and a higher chance of getting good luck rather than bad luck.

no pic - I just can't draw but here's a tale which tells why we need a shipmaker / harbour...................

They came from the North – just one scout ship at first, then a whole fleet. Pirates from lands long deserted after the fall of Wild Mary. Our troops were ready but they had no real defences. While our islands are surrounded by sea, we had no ships to send out to stop assault.

We met them on the sands, we met them on the roads and we fought hard. They fired cannons from the sea, diminishing our armies – they stood no chance.

After the attack, Pirates took all they could and left. The survivors were few, but they knew what to do. They set to work. Soon they had their first ship. Word had spread and visitors from other lands were settling and helped with the work. It wasn’t long before our land was rebuilt, and this time with the defences they needed – a fleet of fighting ships. They then built fishing vessels to help feed the growing population, and finally ships of discovery – sent to seek out new lands and find new treasures.

The Pirates left their mark, but our island is ready............
