They had a dev diary about such thing already back in 2012 but the features were abandoned due performance issues or something similar

I manage ok checking the number of available licenses (telling me if I lost a mine) and the status of certain geologists but there are still details I miss so I'd love a summary of anything that would have appeared as a notification but only if it doesn't degrade performance which already suffers at times.
