2 hotfixes was a waste of time!
2 hotfixes was a waste of time!
Hello People
Depends on whose viewpoint... Perhaps the tests before the hotfixes were showing that loots from adventures were actually decent and that everything was working as intended in the Dev Diary (where's the second daily footy quest for those on premium???), so BB came up with those hotfixes to derail what would have otherwise been a nice event to enjoy
Great to know.
Kudos to South Korea. Well done
And to keep the post settlers related. Riches of the Mountains looks profitable this event (especially for premium users) for high level players.
Time/ressources spent vs Reward:
15-20 mins per scenario in total. Probably less if using barazek (I have just been doing them while the spring park zone buff affecting PH was on)
Low drop: 10 High drop: 20 footballs + 49 event ressources without premium

For event related ressources: Tomb Raiders got a nice drop and it's pretty quick if you got 3 quick friends/guild mates up for playing it.

There is a world of imagination
Deep in the corners of your mind
Where reality is an intruder
And myth and legend thrive
15716 balls needed
~4000 from explorers (with ~30 of them)
650 from achievements
380 from calendar
1350 from matches
leaves 9336 needed from adventures and quests.
If just adventures, that would mean ~700 outlaws, almost 40 outlaws every single day for the event duration.
The question is:
1) Was there a miscalculation on how much adventures should be rewarding? Is a hotfix required so they give 100+ each?
2) Was this done on purpose by some stingy developer to force players to only get one or two purchases instead of everything? I hope this isn't the case as bad events in Anno online destroyed that game for me
Where do you get the total number of balls needed. Or I should say, based on what?
Getting every possible item?
That perhaps is the problem...
Sorry, but I've slept since then...
Maybe try counting them yourself before commenting?
Footie Pitch x 1 = 1499
Snack Stand x 1 = 4250
Stone Cold Geologist x 2 = 2590
Lucky Explorer x 1 = 2499
Friary x 2 = 3998
5 Building License x 1 = 880
Total = 15716
You could take the building licenses and the friaries out of that and would reduce the requirement down to 20 outlaws per day, still far too much.
The point I was making is that I'm not assuming that I can get everything.
I have plenty of beanstalks for building licenses for example, and I will get a snack stand by virtue of following the quest chain. But even assuming I wanted those things, I don't assume it's only a fair event if I can easily get everything I might want. I always prioritize what I think is a 'must have' followed by 'really want' then lastly 'it would be nice'.
So it's not the count I was questioning, it's the assumption that it "can't be done" if you think you should be able to get everything on offer.
Sorry, but I've slept since then...
