Most ill conceived and almost on a par with the silly Black and White non event we had!

Make 2500 solid sandwiches, really! Has anyone realised that players at the level this quest was given use either feasts or steaks. I cant remember the last time I used a solid sandwich and these will last me longer than a year! Bad bad choice BB!

And the pay footballs thing, yes we get a calendar window that gives the same amount back, but that in effect means we have a calendar day with no reward. Thanks for nothing!

The low drop from adventures is making it very very hard for lower level players to get enough for any of the specialists. And for other guildies to get enough to help them, oh my! what a slog!

    NOT enjoying this.

thats not matter, read from Dev Diary "For the first 15 days of the event, a new quest in this chain will be unlocked and starts if or when you have finished the preceding one.For example, if you don't finish the first quest until the third day, then you will get the second quest immediately upon completing it, followed by the third quest after the second one is done.

IMMEDIATELY!!! ... it should be unlock ONE BY ONE to reach 12th day... AND 12TH SUBQUEST... and today again... i have LOCKED 5th quest and today is 12th day of event.. :-( :-(

    https://ctrlv.cz/TFdu

obvious, thats only one of the neverending line of errors and mistakes of BB guys... again and again... :-(

I agree. For me the fun with an event is the raise in activity and people helping each other. Doing lots of adventures, swapping and giving ls. Giving extras to low level players. Much more activity than normal. What I like is the boost to chat and guild activity.
Now people have given up doing any extra stuff - they just do quest and go back to normal activity. What we get out of it in the end is not that important to me, it is the process. But in order for people to bother the need a carrot, you are not going to make them run after a grain of sand.
If for some reason support feels the need to edit what I wrote, please delete entire post instead, dont put words into my mouth that I never said.

Ah.. but it does. Read the paragraph before the one you quoted:

Introducing A Host of Responsibilities, a new quest chain that starts at level 22 or above. It deals with the costs and responsibilities of hosting tournament matches on your island. The rewards focus on coins, a stacking population growth buff (that is immediately applied; it doesn't go to the star menu), and a big reward for completing the whole chain. The new quest chain's sub-quests unlock after a certain number of days after your first login during the event, and not the event start.
So, I would assume that you didn't log in for the first week or so of the event. If that is not the case then you should contact support.

Didn't anyone look at the drop rate from adventures and realise this is approximately 30 adventures worth of footballs. (yes I know the ali baba adv pay more but its difficult to do more than a few of those each day due to slow barracks)

If you didn't want us to get anything from the event why bother having an event in the first place?
We do pay a lot but we get a lot of xp in return - enough to level me up so I'll get whatever rewards I get for that too. As for not wanting us to get anything - I'll get a snack stand from the quest chain, a friary, an explorer and not sure what i'll have left but i'll get maybe a 2nd friary and other bits - and I'm not spending all day doing adventures. There are plenty of things you can buy with the balls you get. You just can't have it all - which is the same as in life

I have played the summer event from day 1. I have done every quest so far available, collected every collectible I could, done several scenarios and adventures. There is 9 days left of the event and so far I have about 3500 footballs. I need 15000 to get the decent rewards, Everybody is same so no free footballs to trade. It is not possible to get the rewards with out buying footballs. Like many others I cannot log on every minute of every day. My explorers are never at home, they are out finding rss and footballs.

First time ive ever seen event res actually rise in value as the event progresses. This is very poorly balanced.

Maybe those that boasted about events being too easy and getting everything within a week are not so smug now. But the precedent has been set, expect adv drops to be similar from now on.

The current value puts a friary at 170k coin if u buy it with balls, lol.
