I think that BB is unaware that some of us have full-time jobs and can't sit on-line all day. My explorers probably earned 20x what I got in footballs from adventures (excluding the match advs).
Edit: and I still only managed to get the Lucky and both Stoners after buying 1K footballs

Sorry BB but the event was just a hard slog for me. Didn't get the 1000 collies and I left laptop on all the time - and have I said I hate collecting collies?
Didn't trade much only to off load the extra 50 footyballs that came a tad late to be of real use.
I like my lucky - always have. I like the stone geo's - and thats all I managed.
Snack stand of no use to me - but thats personal.
I enjoy the quests as they are new each day and a challenge to use the mechanics of the game - although the timings on some were a little tight, if my understanding of the 24h for new quests was correct.
Football adventures with the buffs not much fun.
Not knocking the event or the work put in designing it and implementing it and all that - but I play for fun and I didn't get any - sorry.
Shout me down if you wish but I liked the days of a BK (for example) adventure with good loot, 2 loot spots, trade office going crazy, and the game buzzing with players - are those days gone I wonder?

Hmm, where do I start? Terrible event, no x2 or seasonal adv were included here? why? cause the event is every 2 years and you couldn't be bothered to do it I suspect.
Also this time you inexplicably put the event resource that scouts found in the adv loot where that loot should've been the island collectables like they were for the last 2 football events (2014, 2016).This resulted in untold helmets, grass etc.
Those football drops were hideous, went back to normal adventuring within a week.
You even had a further update to lower football drops from the test football event, again why? what was your thinking here? Surely the absolute mugs that bragged of getting everything within a week of previous events couldn't of influenced you that much?? Lower lev players had no hope.
Overall a massive thumbs down, even a scout & 2 new geos did not save this event!

p.s lol you even put the lucky scout in the black market during the event so chancers would buy it then complain that they could not get the 1 with footballs. What was the saying of not organising something in a brewery?

    What i liked:

    - The quest chain, hard but good reward in exp. The inclusion of the stand was a good end reward because i could not afford it in the market.
    - The new Geos are amazing and useful, Like the Iron ones they are great additions to the game.
    - 1 More lucky

    Dind't Like:

    - The adventure football drops, i can understand wanting to make the eevnt a bit harder, but on a game depending on grind as it is, in a time of year where many might be busy with real life the drops were very low specially on high end adventures.
    - The Stand - Not useful at all for most players past mid levels and for the lower ones that might use it it was WAY TO EXPENSIVE specially because the footbals that dropped on adventures being too rare.
    - Too many collectibles for scenarios we don't need
    - The 1k collectible click achivment, again with real life in the way was not achived by many.

Overal the event was decent. In future events please rework the quests to be more like this one, make them harder but give good enough rewards. But do remember that many of your demographic is older then most games, and real life is a problem. So maybe rethink the rewards/requisites for event resources a bit better.

I was definitely not impressed with the event, it was just plain boring and the rewards did not match the effort required. I adventured hard to ensure I got the explorer for the first week, then seeing how little I had was discouraged and just did the bare minimum to get what I wanted. If we hadn't worked as a guild to share loot spots then it would of been pointless.

I would suggest in future that the rewards per adventure are proportionate to the troop numbers / cost. I.E Traitors you lose 600ish recruits should be rewarded much less than Valiant Little Tailor which costs 6000 troops. The elite adventures using elite troops cost few troops but that is outweighed by how long it takes to replace them (which is far too long), these factors should be taken into consideration.

Another suggestion would be to alter the rewards per level groupings, I.E. traitors being completed by a player at that appropriate level gets much more than a player who is level 50+.

Please add a little more variation to future events.

The collectibles click achievement was really impossible to get, rest I got, also football drops were lower than ever from explorers, each year more footballs needed and less gained

Umm, I wasn't looking forward to this event, football is not my thing, and having played the previous versions, another same old same old did not set my pulse racing Lol. However I seemed to be playing a different game than everybody else, as I managed without to much effort to get all the big stuff and still managed to give away over 1000 footballs to others on my friend list. I do have a full compliment of explorers, but still sent out only luckies, courageous and savages on prolonged searches, with the rest doing their usual specialist searches, and they did most of the football finding. Did not do many adventures as the freezing issue still ruins that area of the game for me, and did two collections everyday. The quest line which seemed to cause a lot of complaint in chat, I actually found refreshing and the xp was much better applied with this event than anything previously. They were more than one click wonders and made you do things outside your normal game mode, very similar to the crisis quest format, and I like them as they are in keeping with having a generalised, well balanced economy, and not a specialised one, so my island made light work of everything BB threw at it.
In fact the only bad thing I have to say about the event, was for something that effected others not me, namely the inclusion of a `must do ' pvp requirement in the quest line. I'll remind you devs of the optional promise you gave on introducing this area of the game. You were reminded again about forcing players to do pvp when you developed the boat thing quests. Some players simply do not want anything to do with that aspect of the game please keep it out of all events in future. ( Making us make 1000's of low level buffs is one thing, pvp is quite another )
Are we to be told of adventure changes or not? 1 Month on and still SNEAKY RB changes have not been mentioned

Have BB learned nothing from the mistakes from previous football events? All the same problems are repeated here - lack of needed collectibles with an over-abundance of unneeded ones.

Prices of the items in the merchant are far too high and most of us gave up on getting what we wanted.

Anyone who is unable to play twice daily will not get the 1000 collectible achievement. I've always hated hidden object games and don't think it belongs in the game anyway.

The amount of buffs needed for the football matches is ridiculous.

The balloon event was more fun than this. (and it was terrible too!)

    • Collectables requirement for achievement was too high, or not enough collectables were being rewarded after being found, I was managing to get all the collectables 1-2 times a day and it still took me until 2 days left to get the achievement, if I had started late then it would have been impossible.
    • Adventure rewards were bad.
    • Snack stand is a minor bonus at best, too expensive and I don't like the new design of having multiple buildings to speed up the process, a better idea would just be to allow a single building to be upgraded.

I do like the new geos, maybe a bit too much as I find myself only using the stone/iron geos now All the research books invested into the other geos feel a bit wasted now maybe if there is a 200% gem sale at some point ill refund all the books.

I am a fan of easy events, part of the reason I gave up on Anno online was because I found the events almost impossible to get anything useful from.
Ideally they should only require participation for 50% of the duration so those with jobs/etc still stand a chance of making use of them.

The Snack stand I like so voted for it but really it is not that useful. Maybe for Red Flying Settlers . I did not get the second one.
    Love the Stone Cold Geo
Too many collectibles that we just do not need at all. (Helmets, Shoulder pads for example)

    Overall I liked the Event.
I would like to see a regular summer event.
    totally agree
