So its actually a disadvantage to buy islands with additional titanium or saltpeter deposits. Good to know.

Was fighting windmills from Aug 2012 to Oct 2019.
i was already to buy these in the morning but after reading the additional dep wont add to the total found is no point will wait to see if its cleared up
oh joy, more gem grab, way to go BB, wont be bothering here
So for some reason new islands can only be found one at a time. Sent out multiple explorers all came back reporting success but only found one new sector each time.
Was fighting windmills from Aug 2012 to Oct 2019.
Sent out one Explorer and it didn't find anything. The system tab reported "No unexplored sector is adjacent to one of yours, or a neutral sector." I have previously explored/built the southern islands, with the exception of the gem paid island in the south east and in the north. I have paid the gems for the island in the south west and built on that.
I fully expected not to be able to find the two new islands in the north as I have not bought the gem paid island directly below them, but I am surprised I cannot find the islands in the south west (the desert ones).
lol please ignore this - wrong explorer search

Hey folks - we're looking into the potential issue with deposits and the new islands. In the meantime, keep letting us know your feedback and concerns!
I haven't bought any island for gems.
I sent 4 scouts simultaniously on correct search. They all said they found an island, but only 1 has lost fog.

Sent 1 scout again, he found and uncovered 1 extra island.
Sent 2 scouts again, they found 2, but uncovered 1 island
refresh, no change (still 1 island covered)
Sent 2 scouts again. They both! said to have found an island, last island uncovered.
