Field Medic General is invisible when attacking or moving

Just used Field Medic gen for the first time. Everything is normal except when I click on attack I cant see him moving, it says he is attacking but he looks as though he is still in his tent.

I have cleared cache/refreshed etc and have discovered he is actually attacking but is totally invisible.

In the settings you can hide "settlers" and "wild animals". If you "unhide" them and make them visible, you should also see the field medic general on your island. But he has no "banner" and looks more or less like a normal settler.

Support are aware of the issue and investigating the issue. But this works as a work-around for now.

Thank you when he recovered from his invisible suicide, I altered my settings as you suggested and he is now visible and attacking normally

Field Medic General is invisible when attacking or moving

    Hi,

Field Medic General is invisible when attacking or moving - simply no "horseman" anywhere... makes him nearly impossible to do blocks.

Maybe he should've been a ninja?

Have to turn back on the feature that makes animals etc visible on island/adv then you can see him - though that adds to the lag which is why they came up with the ability to turn that stuff off.

There is a second thread with this, MOD please merge.

It must be the "Settlers" setting and not wild animals. VLT was the first trip out for my Medic and I could see him just fine (although he didn't have a flag). I leave the settlers on my island but not the animals. Running Chrome btw.
Sorry, but I've slept since then...

There's already (or there was) posts about that - the work around is to allow showing settlers animations and animals animations. For me, just making sure the settlers animation was turned on was enough (options: enable settlers walking on island). That seems to take care of it.
