Been down for nearly two hours, server must have gone off line through technical issues.
Looks like loot spots are off the menu for a while.

Obviously they broke login too...
Chrome login does not work for me. Im forced to use IE. Good job BB this is much better than nightly maintenance thx. ("There may be very short downtimes of the game")... yes no chat, login issues etc...
I was able to log in o chrome just now, but no chat and looks like nobody is on from my friends/guild list.
Me 3. I can log in via Steam but dead/empty chat window.

No luck logging in via chrome, firefox, or opera but in via edge/IE. no chat but mail does work. Accessing forum is very slow.
Able to login to Newfoundland and Sandycove using all browsers. And both have chats fully functioning.

Network Maintenance
Dear Settlers,
A network maintenance will be conducted and our game may experience interruptions.
Date: 18.11.2018 - 19.11.2018
What: Network maintenance
Game: Possible short service interruptions
There may be very short downtimes of the game and/or website and forum during this time. The game will generally stay online.
We'd also like to remind players that the Halloween Event will be deactivated on Saturday, 17th of November at 23:59 CET. Please ensure you've made your event purchases at in in-game merchant before the deadline!
Happy Settling!
Your "The Settlers Online" Team

lol jolly, fully aware of that, thought might be of help to those who wondered if they were the only one suffering.
and 6 hours chat and loginproblems from most used browsers cannot be called 'short service interruptions' or 'very short downtimes of the game' - tried several times with Firefox and chrome from Linux and changed to windows - and finally Edge after reading lord's post.
